Baldwin, Briscoe & Steinmetz, P.C. Welcomes Duke May, V, to Their Team of Top Southern Maryland Attorneys

Baldwin, Briscoe & Steinmetz, P.C. proudly welcomes Duke May, V, as their newest Associate Attorney. His valuable experience as a former prosecutor and commitment to public service make him a significant asset to the firm.

Duke May specializes in commercial law, estate and trust planning, personal injury, and civil litigation. 

As a lifelong St. Mary’s County resident, Mr. May earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and Katholiek Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, with a concentration in Real Estate Law from the University of Baltimore School of Law. 

Following law school, Mr. May served as a judicial law clerk in Baltimore County before returning to his hometown as an Assistant State’s Attorney, where he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases. 

He resides in St. Mary’s County with his wife and children. Outside of work, he enjoys kayaking, boating, and crabbing, reflecting his deep connection to the local community.
