Supporting Our Community – Expungement Event

Attorneys from The Law Offices of Baldwin, Briscoe and Steinmetz supported a team that conducted an expungement event at Society Hookah Lounge in Waldorf, Maryland.

“We try to meet the needs of the clients we serve,” said criminal attorney Ms. Nivea A. Ohri. “Providing this service where our clients may feel more comfortable is most valuable to them.”

An expungement is the removal of court and police records from public inspection. A person may be eligible for an expungement if they were convicted of a criminal offense that is no longer a crime or certain nuisance crimes, such as cannabis possession.

“Not everyone is able to meet at our Charles or Lexington Park Offices during normal working hours,” Ms. Ohri says. “We work with our community to ensure the best representation possible.”
